Katie led a session on balancing the three constitutional types or doshas in Ayurveda: pitta, vata, and kapha. She provided tips and natural remedies for managing the imbalances associated with each dosha, emphasising the importance of understanding your dominant dosha (prakriti) but also focusing on current state (vikriti) . Katie also spoke about the significance of maintaining a regular routine, embracing laughter, and connecting with a community for overall health and wellness.

Katie led a session on ayurveda and women's wellness, focusing on the connection with nature, the importance of hormonal balance, and the role of the moon in regards to both the energy of letting go and manifestation. She emphasised the significance of honouring the your body's natural cyclical nature and offered strategies for supporting hormonal health, including the use of herbal remedies and essential oils. Katie also advocated for self-care practices and encouraged tuning into your own needs for optimal health and wellbeing.

Edwina stepped in for Katie today and led a session on enhancing vitality and immunity through various practices, including a balanced diet, stress management, and regular exercise. She also introduced a product called Shebang designed to support women's health during menopause and beyond, and discussed the benefits of incorporating healthy fats and twisting poses in yoga practice. Additionally, she emphasised the importance of adequate sleep, eating seasonally and locally, and the practice of breath control exercises for overall well-being.

Ojas and Agni in AyurvedaSession 4 - Subtle Anatomy (Chakras and Koshas)

Katie led this session on the connection between the Western medical model and holistic / all layers of the self approaches. She discussed the concept of the Koshas, the five layers of the self, and the significance of intuition, and shared a couple of personal anecdotes to demonstrate the teaching points. She provided a detailed overview of the chakra system and shared introduced journaling prompts to deepen connections with the Divine. The session ended with a reading that emphasised the importance of rejecting societal constructs that weaken women with so called âgood girlâ narratives.
