What we repeatedly attend to, forms us.
TEND is a practical exploration of thoughtful living in a complicated world. Together we will cultivate the small daily practices that nourish a meaningful life (from home rhythms and family culture, to work and passion-projects) with simplicity and care. TEND acknowledges that where we place our attention, becomes our experience of life.
Rather than offering another system for personal-development, TEND helps women slow down, pay attention, and intentionally shape the life they are already living through ordinary acts of tending: to yourselves, your relationships, your home, your community and the things you hold sacred. TEND is about gratitude and coherence.
TEND is a twelve-week immersive exploring four timeless qualities that shape this meaningful life:
Devotion.
Dignity.
Discernment.
Discipline.
In a culture that constantly encourages us to consume more, optimise more and become more, TEND offers a different question:
What is precious enough to tend?
Together we will explore the people, practices, values and responsibilities that deserve our attention, and how small acts of care, repeated over time, shape the lives we create.
Part reflection, part conversation, part practical application, TEND is designed for women seeking a more intentional, grounded and wholehearted way of living.
This is not self-improvement.
It is the art of tending what matters.

Hi there, I'm Katie Rose..
I'm the founder of Bhakti Rose and a teacher of ayurveda and yoga for over 25 years. I’ve owned and run yoga studios all over the world and spent many years studying in India, the UK, America and Australia. I’ve had the honour and blessing of learning with some of the best ayurveda teachers in the world and from some of the strongest, most authentic lineages.
I created this program because
Through our twelve weeks together you will find that:
You feel calmer, clearer and less pulled in competing directions.
You spend less time procrastinating and feeling guilty about what isn't getting done.
You become more intentional with your time, energy and attention.
You feel more connected to your own values and priorities.
You find it easier to recognise what is truly worth your care.
You experience less pressure to constantly optimise, improve or keep up.
You develop greater trust in your own judgement and intuition.
You create simple rhythms and routines that support the life you want to live.
You learn to approach work, family and responsibilities with greater purpose and less overwhelm.
You leave with a clearer sense of what you are tending—and what you are no longer willing to tend.

TEND Is For Women Who...
TEND is for women who feel the pull towards a more thoughtful way of living.
Women who are tired of rushing, striving, optimising and keeping up. Women who sense that a meaningful life is not built through constant reinvention, but through caring well for what matters.
You may find yourself at a point in life where success, achievement or productivity no longer feel like enough. Perhaps you are craving greater clarity, deeper conversations, more intentional rhythms or a stronger connection to your own values. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed by noise, distraction and competing demands, and are looking for a way to live with greater steadiness and purpose.
TEND is for women who love books, ideas, beauty, learning and meaningful conversation. Women who are interested in wisdom rather than trends, depth rather than performance, and substance rather than appearances.
Many women arrive here during a season of transition. Some are navigating changes in family life, work, relationships, faith or identity. Others simply recognise a desire to slow down, pay attention and live more deliberately.
Participants come from many different backgrounds. Some may have experience with yoga, wellness or spiritual traditions. Others may arrive through literature, motherhood, business, creativity, community or a simple longing for a more grounded and intentional life.
What matters most is not where you come from, but your willingness to engage with the central question at the heart of TEND:
What is precious enough to tend?
And from asking this question you'll leave with a clearer sense of what you are tending, and what you are no longer willing to tend.
WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING:
"Thank you for the incredible conversation and information and stories that were held in your call. Thank you so much for sharing the recording. You did cover so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I love you and your teachings so much.
..
I am currently reading your book Trust Life, Trust Yourself, Find Peace and I am only up to page 25 but it has helped me already. I did the process of saying yes to something that I have terrible anxiety about and then said no and even though I really wanted to say yes and I would definitely said yes any other time in my life, but the moment I said no I felt calm and at peace. So I knew what the right decision was. I can’t thank you enough for everything. You do make me cry in the most beautiful heart felt way."
Kylie Turner
Here's why I'm sharing TEND with you now:
I've reached a point in my life, at 48 years old and with five children I have the joy and privilege of caring for, where many of the things that I used to think were important simply don't hold the same appeal they once did.
These days I would rather spend an evening at home than go out. I'd rather cook a simple soup than dine in a fancy restaurant. I'd rather drink chai than wine. I find myself increasingly drawn to the simple satisfaction of looking after what is already here rather than striving for more and more.
I have become deeply interested in the question of what makes a good life and TEND is my attempt to explore and take action into that question alongside a group of thoughtful women.

"Thank you so much!!!! I couldn't have done this launch without you!! Thank you for sticking with me through it all.
I felt totally lost before working with you, but since the group calls and 1:1 mentorship (literally a godsend) I've gained so much clarity and confidence!! I swear working with you totally changed my life because I don't know if I would have ever had the guts or knowledge how to do this on my own. I can't thank you enough!!!."

Step over the threshold ...
Devotion
Devotion is the organising principle beneath everything we value most deeply in TEND: family, meaningful work, beauty, sacred life, service and the disciplines that create a life over decades rather than days. Through devotion we become increasingly less interested in endless self-construction and more interested in what becomes possible when we commit deeply enough to people, practices and principles for life to become coherent. Devotion is not only spiritual practice; it is how we love, how we remain steadfast, how we build, and how we orient ourselves toward something beyond ego, performance and endless consumption.
Discipine
Discipline is not a glamorous ideal, and many people instinctively resist it. For me, it has proven to be one of the most important foundations of a meaningful life. Discipline creates freedom because meaningful lives are rarely built through small acts repeated carefully over time.
Discipline is choosing to go for the walk when you don't feel like it. It is keeping promises to yourself. It is putting money aside for the future, preparing nourishing meals, showing up for your family, tending your home, returning to practices that sustain you, even when motivation comes and goes.
Our values become visible not through what we believe, but through how we live.
Discernment
Discernment is the ability to choose wisely in a world of endless options. It recognises that every yes is also a no (to something else), and that our lives are determined by choices. Increasingly, the question is not what more can be added, but what genuinely matters. Discernment means learning to distinguish between enough and excess, freedom and fragmentation, opportunity and distraction. It is the capacity to recognise what deserves our attention, time and energy, and to consciously build a life around those choices. Many women feel utterly overwhelmed most of the time, and discernment is the balm to soothe that overwhelm. Discernment invites us to step out of reactive living and become thoughtful stewards of our lives, choosing with care what we will cultivate, protect and prioritise.
Dignity
Through dignity we find old-fashioned courtesy, sobriety without moral judgement and wholesome living. We respect others, even when we disagree, and engage in healthy, open-minded conversation. We hold ourselves with care and grace, even when changing our minds or navigating difficult circumstances.
In a culture of endless scrolling, optimisation and accumulation, where spirituality, wellness and even goodness can become performance, dignity invites a different path. It values wisdom over novelty, thoughtful living over endless expansion, and restraint, care and integrity over display.
Gatherings
Seasonal living, cleansing and detoxifying is part of healthy ayurvedic protocol and in this in-depth module we look at a range of ways to safely and effectively do just that.
Companion Journal & Reflection Workbook
Once the system is cleansed we nourish and re-build. This is where the essence of true health is created - in a truly robust constitution that's resourced for anything physically, emotionally and energetically.
How would it feel to be able to say...
"I stopped saying yes to things I didn't want."
"I finally created rhythms that support me."
"I became more intentional with my time."
"I changed my relationship with consumption."
"I found a deeper sense of purpose."
"I started living according to my values."

In their own words ...
"I love every part of the course. Katie is an amazing teacher and she explains everything very easy to understand. She is also very down to earth, she teaches concepts adapted to a modern world.
I just love the way the training is. I was expecting a course with lectures and more structure and I found a training that was more like daily support. Listening to other women, teachers and practitioners in a relaxing atmosphere was beautiful. Thank you, it really has helped me to understand what I really need and want in a personal and professional level."

More about Katie Rose
Katie Rose is a teacher, writer, mother of five and lifelong student of what it means to live well.
For more than twenty-five years she has worked in the fields of yoga, Ayurveda, women's wellbeing and birth, supporting thousands of women through courses, trainings, retreats, books and community. She is accredited with both Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia as an experienced yoga teacher and teacher trainer, and has spent decades exploring the relationship between daily practice, meaningful work and a life lived with intention.
Before moving to Sydney, Katie managed the renowned TriYoga centre in London. In 2004 she opened Samadhi Yoga, followed by Jivamukti Yoga Sydney, which grew into a thriving four-studio community and continues to serve students today.
She is the author of several internationally available books including Mindful Living, The Yoga of Birth and Trust Life, Trust Yourself, Find Peace. She writes as Devotion Rose on Substack.
While yoga and Ayurveda remain important influences in her work, Katie's interests have expanded over the years to include motherhood, stewardship, meaningful work, community, tradition, attention and thoughtful living. TEND emerges from the intersection of these experiences and questions.
Today she lives in Sydney, Australia with her five children, where the realities of family life continue to provide both the inspiration and the testing ground for much of what she teaches.
"I can't tell you enough just how grateful I am to you for all you have taught me. and opened me to see.
"You are the person who first introduced me to the divine feminine and made me see birth in a whole new way. And you have continued to guide me over these years on my spiritual path."

A parting note from Katie
When I first began teaching yoga more than twenty-five years ago, I was primarily interested in practices that helped people feel better. Over time, my work expanded into Ayurveda, women's health, business mentoring, birth work and community building. Each of these paths has shaped me profoundly and I remain deeply grateful for them.
As the years have passed, I have become increasingly interested in a different question.
Not simply how to heal, achieve, optimise or improve ourselves, but how to live well.
How do we create lives that feel meaningful rather than merely busy? How do we navigate a world of endless information, endless choice and endless distraction without losing sight of what matters most? How do we cultivate homes, relationships, practices and ways of being that nourish us over the long term?
TEND emerged from these questions.
It is a gathering together of many threads that have been weaving through my work for many years. The importance of daily practice, the wisdom of paying attention, the value of simplicity. The relationship between our inner lives and the way we move through the world.
If you choose to join us, my hope is not that you leave with another set of rules or another identity to perform. My hope is that you leave with greater clarity about what is precious enough to tend in your own life, and with the confidence to build a life around those things.
Thank you for taking the time to explore TEND. I hope this is your season to step over the threshold and join us.
What is precious enough to TEND? ...
♡ A healthy, vital body.
♡ A peaceful home and family life.
♡ Wholesome relationships.
♡ Work done with integrity.
♡ A life aligned with your deepest values.
Together we'll explore how creativity, purpose and the feeling of abundance can weave more seamlessly into everyday life, without judgement or pressure.
TEND is an exploration rather than a promise.
Together we'll spend twelve weeks asking what is precious enough to deserve our attention, our care and our commitment, and what might change when we begin to organise our lives around those answers.
In my own life, I have found that when I tend carefully to the things that matter most, everything else seems to find its proper place.
